Saunter FAQ
What is Saunter? It is an application I developed to saunter (crawl) the internet and collect words. All of the gathered words are then hashed with the MD5, SHA1, NTLM and LM algorithms and stored in their respective database. At this time, seventy five sites (which I will not disclose) are being crawled based on how often they are updated. If a word is already in any of the existing databases, the record is not duplicated. This database is not meant to grow quickly. It is supposed to grow slowly and over time. Naturally, I will add more sites and increase the crawling frequency in the future.
Why have Saunter? Saunter is designed to collect new words to hash and store in the databases. This will over time continually increase the reversing capabilities of TMTO[dot]ORG's databases. This will also generate many words that can later be exported into wordlists (if I wish to do so).
