History
TMTO[dot]ORG was originally MD5Lookup. On March 12th, 2005 I registered "md5lookup.com" and started building the databases.
Over time I began to realize that I didn't want to just focus on the MD5 algorithm, I actually wanted to focus on the entire
methodology of TMTO (Time-Memory Trade Off). On November 24th, 2006 I registered "tmto.org" and MD5Lookup started it's
transition to TMTO[dot]ORG, and we've been TMTO[dot]ORG ever since.

Jul. 22nd, 2006 - I (Jason R. Davis) delivered a 1 hour presentation at HOPE6 in New York City, NY entitled
"Password Cracking and Time-Memory Trade Off". I publicly demonstrated MD5Lookup in front of hundreds of people.
I was also interviewed shortly after my presentation by Darren Kitchen from Hak5. The interview was later featured
in Hak5:2x01. My presentation was, to quote Darren Kitchen from Hak5, "Probably the best panel discussion at HOPE[6]".
