TMTO[dot]ORG is a comprise of common knowledge about Time-Memory Trade Off. Specifically, in relation
to password security research, Time-Memory Trade Off allows for the fastest password auditing systems
on the planet to be manifest. Through research and development, the TMTO[dot]ORG developers have
created new techniques to apply TMTO to password cracking and auditing.
TMTO[dot]ORG also features what could be the fastest and most effective online password auditing tools.

- 1. Provide a Means of Security
- A. TMTO[dot]ORG will not just advocate security as a basis for protection, TMTO[dot]ORG will
provide the tools to increase security.
- B. By researching new TMTO techniques, faster and more accurate tools can be provided.
- 2. Seek the Truth and Hold No Secrets
- A. By testing our own and other projects research, TMTO[dot]ORG promises to seek out falsehoods
and show clear evidence of the outcome by seeking only the truth.
- B. By providing a public service that the public uses, the public and it's privacy therein must
be kept. Under no circumstance will any information that violates that agreement be held a secret
or not made readily available upon request. *No information will be logged, tracked, or retrieved
from the public users of any of TMTO[dot]ORG's websites other than the apache log files.
There will be no IP logging or traffic tracking of any kind above and beyond what is provided by
the said apache log files. The anonymity of TMTO[dot]ORG's user base will be respected at all costs.*
This is being revised. Due to outsourced hosting, logging levels are not as easily controlled and
it's unsure how much unknown logging is being done by the web hosting company.
- C. In order to track statistical effectiveness, only the query results will be saved. There will
be no associated data that could link a user to a specific query logged by TMTO[dot]ORG's server(s).
- 3. Do No Harm
- A. Research is fundamental to the growth of mankind. Under no circumstance will TMTO[dot]ORG or
it's associated members slander other research, regardless of nature or origins.
- 4. Be and Act Independent
- A. Financially, TMTO[dot]ORG will remain autonomous from corporate ownership. It will remain a not
for profit research project, based on open source technology. TMTO[dot]ORG will never endorse, nor
use closed source or limited licensed software.
- B. The following are acceptable means of funding: monetary donations and advertisement revenue.
- 5. Be Accountable
- A. Financially, TMTO[dot]ORG will keep a strict public ledger to track donations and all monetary items.
- B. Politically, TMTO[dot]ORG will not endorse any political affiliations.
- C. Socially, TMTO[dot]ORG will be dependent upon it's user base to report problems or errors in the
research reports or results of any item relating to TMTO[dot]ORG. Correction will be made promptly after
review. An un-biased party, the public, will decide the results via poll.
